INTERNATIONAL CONVERTING EXHIBITION USA AND THE ASSOCIATION OF INTERNATIONAL METALLIZERS, COATERS AND LAMINATOR’S R2R CONFERENCE TO COME TOGETHER IN ORLANDO THIS OCTOBER

Norwalk, CT—May 18, 2021— International Converting Exhibition & Conference USA (ICEC USA)—America’s leading trade event for paper, film and foil converting—announces the co-location of the ICEC USA 2021 event with The Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL)’s Roll 2 Roll Conference (R2R) in October at the Orange County Center in Orlando, Florida.

Partnered with the Society of Plastics Engineers – Flexible Packaging Division’s SPE FlexPackCon®, the AIMCAL R2R USA Conference has been a champion of roll-to-roll processing, and the converting industry for many years and has steadily grown by delivering solid technical programming and valuable networking opportunities to attendees. The AIMCAL R2R USA Conference will be hosted October 17-21, 2021.

“This brings together the two most important US converting industry events for the first time,” says AIMCAL Executive Director, Chris Kerscher. “Attendees to ICEC USA can now choose to attend part or all of the AIMCAL R2R USA educational content and R2R attendees can experience the latest converting technology first hand on the ICEC USA show floor.”

This strategic alignment creates the largest North American gathering for the industry in many years and will be the home to the highest quality exhibits, engineering and technical content. All attendees of the AIMCAL R2R USA Conference will be granted instant access to ICEC USA exhibits and complimentary educational content on the show floor. With ICEC USA taking place October 19-21, registration for both events will open in mid-May. Register for both events at the ICEC USA Website (www.convertingshow.com).

“AIMCAL has long been a partner with ICEC USA, providing conferences, technical sessions and industry experts as an integral part of the exhibition,” adds ICEC USA Event Director Bob Chiricosta, “Over 100 AIMCAL members have exhibited at ICEC exhibitions in past years to make it an even more collaborative event.”
